Prototype FAQ

A documentation is being written to communicate the results and which solutions have been found. Presenting the prototype answering questions via a FAQ seems to be more flexible  and accurate than an heavy structured but almost empty report . Of course the answers will be incorporated in the final report. Here are the questions:

Making decision process section:

  1. Which situations should the defender aircraft face ?
  2. Why several decision trees ?
  3. How has the missing information problem been solved temporarily?
  4. Which parameters have clearly been taken into account to take  decisions?
  5. How have decisions been taken?
  6. What are the AI input and output formats and why?
  7. How are maneuvers  computed running the decision trees?
  8. How to dismiss incompatible maneuvers?
  9. How  is the defender behavior simulated?
  10. What is the terminology used?
  11. Why the decision tree approach? (14-05-03)
  12. The decision tree is a discrete process, how do you see the continue process? (updated 13-05-03)
  13. Is the strategy of the attacker optimal and guarantees some success? (20-05-03)
  14. Is it easy to escape from that optimal strategy?
  15. What are the basic assumptions and simplifications?(14-05-03)
  16. What are the implemented decision trees in the prototype? (19-05-03)

Design section:

  1. How the flight simulator basic model is designed?

Results section:

  1. How can the results  be checked?
  2. What are the flight simulator basic model constraints? (updated 13-05-03)
  3. What are the flight simulator basic model results? (22-05-03)
